This is a great question. Some people who come through our training start their travel business either part-time, or alongside another full-time job. Choosing to dedicate their spare time to building their travel business, which can often include weekends and evenings.
You decide where and when you work, how much or how little. The flexibility gives you the freedom to make it work for you, to mould the travel business around your lifestyle and the potential demands of another job.
A phased approach for some people works really well, as it gives them the opportunity to build an initial customer base, get familiar with the systems, suppliers, tools and the time they need to start to seeing the commissions come through.
This approach can also give some people the confidence they need to start reducing hours elsewhere, or transition towards becoming a full-time personal travel consultant.
